When transacting using a PayPal account, the details that show up in the transaction details vary depending on which account type you use.
PayPal business accounts let you control your public business details such as your business name and business email whereas PayPal personal accounts display your personal details (legal name and registered email address).
Switching your account
Turning your personal account into a business account for free in a few minutes by:
- Logging into your PayPal account at PayPal.com
- Click on Settings
- Click "Convert to a business account"
- Enter your business information and click "Agree and Continue"
Note that if you choose to create a new account instead of switching your existing account, be sure to unlink and relink your PayPal account in VGen > Settings.
